Paul’s Epistle to the Galatians

The Apostle Paul initially wrote this letter in response to false teaching being propagated in the churches of Galatia. These churches were founded by Paul and Barnabas, but after their departure false teachers came to them, telling them that they must be circumcised and keep the Law of Moses to be saved. Paul wrote this letter to counteract this teaching and emphasize the truth of the Gospel. However, this epistle also covers many other important and practical topics including our sonship in Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, walking in the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit and sanctification. Understanding these teachings is very important in promoting a victorious Christian life.
